A not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization which provides food and shelter for the homeless on Long Island and educates the public.

Need donations of food, toys, gently-used clothing and shoes, personal care items such
as travel sized shampoo, razors, conditioner, soaps, towels, etc., as well as baby items --
clothing, diapers, bibs, and so forth all year long.

We're in immediate need for Towels of all sizes -- face, body, wash cloths, Undergarments
for men, women, and children, umbrellas, toothpaste, razors, and deodorant, as well as
Metrocards.

We Care Blankets

Use your talent to help children undergoing chemotherapy. During treatment, many children are cold. A homemade, colorful blanket makes a wonderful gift for a sick child.  If you can knit, rochet, or quilt then your services are needed.

Blankets need to be a minimum of 28" x 28" or larger.  Individually wrapped blankets are donated to children throughout 19 hospitals in the Tri-State area.  The pattern is up to you.
